Resume 1

I am looking to make the jump from the non-profit world to the for-profit and would love any advice you care to offer. I am still deciding what kind of jobs I am looking for and I'm not ruling anything out. That said, I am leaning towards event planning, program management or research, preferably not something that is strictly administrative in nature ... Please let me know what you think of my resume. Thank you for your help.

Note
any accomplishments academically? awards? scholarships?
Note
Most recruiters arent going to sit still and read a paragraph of text. I would present this data in bullet point form like your work experience.
Note
Non-profits seem to attract more touchy-feely types. Are there any other skills you can add here that show you are more than just a student and an employee. Others might not agree with it, but I would list a couple of hobbies.
Note
what did you do this stuff for? As a casual observer of your resume , I have no ifra what this organization is and what was your involvement
Note
If this is the only past tense item you have, I would list it last. I would also look for a better verb than Was

Not bad, just a few things to tighten up. I recommend listing your dates on the right hand side to make it easier to connect where and when you did these things. Best of luck in the non-profit sector saving the world!
