Hi Nick! This is an interesting resume. The main issue I have is that you use I and my. These should never be included in a resume - first person is assumed in a resume. Instead of "I worked," just "Worked..."I like the idea of using discriptors about your jobs, but dont let them take up so much space (pink highlights).
There is a lot of good stuff in here, Id just reformat and rewrite it to be more formal. Im not a big fan of the shading...I would also re-do the objective and create a highlights of qualifications or skills section instead. You could probably incorporate a lot of what is in here into a more formal resume by following some of the formats I list on my website: www.keppiecareers.com. Follow the link to Transformations.

Why the 2nd blank page? Make me waste my time and printouts :) I actually like this novel format, very original. I would change the word "Dissertation", unless it was a PhD paper, to perhaps "Senior Thesis", if this was for your undergraduate degree.
Nick,
You have the right idea, but the wrong way of showing it! I would be happy to help you. Please review my website and blog:

hmm
I like the format a lot. Though Im not sure - from what I've read, one shouldnt use "I" in the resume. But its great so far. Good luck on that internship!
