Admin Asst - corporate & non-profit

Look no further! If the qualities your company value are creativity, organization, being a “stickler for detail”, tenacious dedication to getting things done “right” and “on time”, I believe I’m an individual that would be successful working for you! I’m an individual who likes to combine project management and organizational skills with creativity and am usually most happy and productive when those two areas intersect! I'll bring to the job proficiency in MS Office 2003 and significant experience in project management, event management, contract negotiation, client presentations, report generation, database management, inventory control, and public speaking. I believe my background in the corporate and non-profit sectors could serve a variety of industries and organizations. Therefore, I welcome the opportunity to discuss job opportunities with any company who believes my skills and experience would benefit their business.

Note
I think you can leave this out. Most employers/recruiters are only looking for the last 10 years of experience at most. You dont want to date yourself either. You can always put this info on an employment application, if required.

Overall, it's a good resume clean formatiing and easy to read. I think you need more of a focus on what type of job you are looking for. YOur cover letter is great, really. That alone would make me give you a call for the appropriate position.

Consider putting your dates in the education section! Many employers want to see dates. I'd take off the graphic. Overall, very nice, but a little too much focus on the "stuff" you've done. I'd suggest backing up and emphasizing your accomplishments and skills more. What were the results of your work? Include more of this. Also, take a look at the samples on my site for ideas to revise the top of your resume...You can get lots more bang for your buck! Best, Miriam Salpeter Keppie Careers

Your enthusiasim and ability to implement and create positions with success will be an asset where ever your career takes you. You are creative, but I'd delete the graphic.
