Note
Flood locations to the right side to avoid cluttering.... also, location is much less significant than the institution... NYU and Wachtell impress, nobody cares that it was in NY... or philly
Note
Note
Was this your only activity in all of college? You have a few years of work experience, so maybe less meaningful, but a semi colon and a list couldnt hurt. Remember that everything is a potential conversatoin starter and can help initiate good interviews with a variety of interviewers
Note
Could be more effective if you bllet this. Also, more active words - "worked" is vague. Finally, do you have any work that you specifically did... maybe a touch of research?
Note
What about it it? Do you speak it? Be clear.
Note
Good job distinguishing these. Both are impressive, and yet you emphasize it
Note
First semester grades out yet?
Note
Flush dates to the right. They clutter what the important points are.
Note
Wow, excellent firm, Im sure you learned a lot
Note
Although format might be standard, consider making a second resume, with bullets, its much easier for recruiters to read.
Note
Well done, I see why you got into NYU

First, the flushing of unimportant info is important as it helps focus a reader on what is significant. Second, I would recommend bulleting the descriptions as opposed to small paragraphs. Again, it helps a read focus... especially lawyers who think in bullets. Finally, if that takes up too much space, you can use semi-colons on the Honors section to list out your honors. *Note that my ratings are based on seeking a summer law job, but not a summer job generally.

This is an excellent resume! Top 5 law school and impressive work experience. If I ever need a corporate lawyer, I'll know who to contact. Only issue is the format, although I understand that some schools require a standard format.

The jewish publications society is interesting, but not that important to the pratice of law.
