Entry level finance 2

Hi, I'm not sure if I did this correctly, but this is a revision to the first resume I posted yesterday. First off, I would like to samb for all of your advice. In addition, I changed the format of my resume to one similar to the higher rated ones on this site.

Note
Your facing an up-hill battle. Most investment banks are looking for a 3.5 of higher GPA from a top tier school. Its will be hard for you to get an interview when competing against Harvard and Yale students with 3.7 GPAs etc. Your best bet is to try and network your way in.
Note
Definitely highlight this.
Note
Enhanced productivity for who/ what? This stuff needs to be results driven and not activity drive. I want to know why you did what you did.
Note
Your light on experience, but this experience does not make a case for why Goldman Sachs or Morgan Stanley wants to hire you.
Note
Did you take a leadership position in these organizations? Just being a member means nothing. The bulge brackets are looking for leaders.
Note
Nice improvement with your language. This will be your selling point for the financial world.
Note
Ruthless has a point about GPA, but again, with the right connections you can get an interview and/or your foot in the door.
Note
Nice job! one thing: consider changing "familar with" to "experience with" or a stronger word of your choosing.
Note
Well done quantifying your resume, be sure to pass this knowledge along to others seeking financial positions.
Note
Interesting, Ive heard about this, hope it was useful.
Note
I agree, computer skills are important.

You have a really hard sell. All the big banks have finished their recruiting for their 2008 analyst class. Your resume doesn't highlight any work experience or leadership activities that make you an attractive candidate. If you have those experiences, then highlight them. Best of luck.

I agree somewhat with Ruthless, about your resume. From his resume, it shows he has Wall Street experience, so he knows what he's talking about. That being said, I believe you have enough core experience, especially with John Hancock, to get your foot in the door. Work your network as much as possible, and send contacts your resume for review on Razume. If they tell you the same, then work on more financial sector experience. Overall, you've done a nice job improving the look and feel of your resume. Again, keep us posted and be sure to share the knowledge you've gained on Razume with others. Best of luck.

Not bad, I like you format and you have some good experience. Keep adding financial sector experience to gain the edge you're looking for.
