Learn more about Razume from some of our recent media coverage. If you're a member of the media and would like to write an article about the new ways Razume is helping people improve their resumes, please contact us.
Razume is a service that enables job seekers to complete their resumes and polish them up with feedback from reviewers in the community. The resume you create using this service is exactly like traditional resumes you may have created in the past, but this service allows you to improve your resume so you’re more likely to better your chances at landing your next job. Users are able to search for jobs on Razume and will soon be able to apply for them through the site itself.
Razume helps the job seeker along three dimensions. First, it helps a person develop a
professional resume, starting with powerful authoring tools and online tips, and then making it simple
for a person to reach out and get tips on fine-tuning their resume from friends, associates, and just as
importantly, the Razume community itself.
...Simple annotation and commenting tools allow people to give very specific feedback to turn someone’s
resume into a better, more effective marketing tool.
There are a variety of sites out there to help you build a resume that will actually get
you a job. Razume hopes to stand out from the rest by making it easier for you to fine-tune a resume.
...particularly if you’re an independent or new worker, you may find this an easier way to get feedback than
letting employers be the first ones to see your pitch.
While there are many great sites out there that will offer up resume tips and interviewing advice for job seekers, there aren't too many that will flat out review (and even rank!) a resume - for free. Enter: Razume. This free resource is a 'must have' for anyone trying to get an edge on their competition in an already tough market.
very-early-stage funder of promising startups called Lauchbox Digital recently previewed an
upcoming demo of nine companies in its portfolio. Of the bunch, my favorite is Razume, a service that
essentially lets you use the wisdom-of-the-crowds to burnish your resume.
...the site is a model of excellent usability. Should all startups come out of the gate so easy-on-the-brain
and friction-free.
Over at Razume.com, you’ll be able to find the tools you’ll need to make your resume look great. The people on the site will do their best to make your resume look appealing to future employers. All you have to do is fill out the application, upload your current resume, and have them do the rest.
One of my favorite sites that we've covered over the past year is Razume. Designed to let
users upload a resume and receive critiques from a community, the online destination, to this point, has
not received the attention it deserves.
That may be about to change, thanks in part to an expansion of offerings... The guys from Razume are committed
to help job seekers, and I think they are on to something big.
Is your resume as perfect as it could be? Are you sure? If not, there's a new service where you can post your resume (privately) and get feedback. Razume provides a fast and
easy way to collect valuable feedback on your resume. It's a web-based resume review platform where users anonymously post, rate, and review resumes. [...]
A site visitor had success with
Razumé
commenting, "The feedback that I received from members not only helped me to improve the format and language on my resume, but it also reminded me of some experience that I have that I had not thought
to put on my resume."
What better than to introduce a service that allows resumes to be reviewed, rated and improved, driven by a collaborative community. The actual user interface technology driving the site is fairly impressive...Its very interactive and very easy to get to grips with. The idea has, in our opinion, certainly got some merit.
Matt Silverman, a senior business major, said that using Razume.com will help students save valuable time throughout their job search.
"I think one of the most useful aspects of it is that it just provides a really easy way for you to upload (your resume) and share it with your friends and for them to actually give
you
feedback on
it right there. It provides a much easier medium for people to help you out," Silverman said.
Razume is an online community that lets you upload your resume and get it reviewed by a community of users who have also submitted their resumes. This lets you get comments and suggestions for improvements on your resume in an entirely anonymous atmosphere.
All in all, a very slick app. Resume writers might find this a good way to snag some job seeker clients.
Career Coaches, Recruiters and Resume Writers tear your resume to digital shreds, giving job seekers free feedback. It's good for the job seeker who gets free advice, and it's good for the reviewer, who gets publicity.
I just received an e-mail from a reader about Razume, a new online community where users can anonymously post, rate and review resumes. The service provides a fast and easy way to collect valuable feedback from knowledgeable sources like recruiters, and it’s free for job seekers. It’s discreet too: users are encouraged to hide contact information on resumes so that the boss won’t know you’re looking.
This is a great service for those who want to request feedback from trusted friends or relatives around the country; job seekers can post resumes and advisers can use a series of useful online tools to make comments and suggestions.
